Due to the decentralized nature of RafflChain, we do not directly collect or store personal information. However, certain types of data are automatically collected as part of the blockchain network and the use of your decentralized wallet.

a. Blockchain Data

• Wallet Address: When you use the Application, your blockchain wallet address (such as an Ethereum address) is visible to us and other participants in the blockchain network. This address is considered public information on the blockchain.
• Transaction Data: All transactions you make within the Application, including ticket purchases, token transfers, and prize distributions, are recorded on the blockchain. Blockchain transactions are public, irreversible, and permanent.

b. Non-Personal Data

We may collect non-personal data automatically when you interact with the Application. This includes:

• Technical Information: Information about your interaction with our website or Application (e.g., IP address, browser type, and device type).
• Aggregated Usage Data: General usage statistics of the Application for analytical purposes.

d. Newsletter Subscription

We use SendFox to manage our newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address is stored by SendFox, not on RafflChain's servers. You can review SendFox’s privacy policy at https://sendfox.com/privacy.

SendFox uses Google Captcha to verify newsletter subscriptions. Google Captcha may collect and store data such as IP address and user interaction with the CAPTCHA as part of their service. By subscribing to our newsletter, you also agree to Google's privacy policy regarding their CAPTCHA service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to provide, operate, and improve the functionality of the Application.

a. Blockchain Data

• Raffle Participation: Your wallet address and transaction history are used to track your participation in raffles, distribute prizes, and contribute to charitable causes.
• Winner Announcement: We may publicly announce the winner’s wallet address or ENS on the RafflChain website. We may also email all subscribers with the winner’s wallet address or ENS, the prize amount won, and the amount donated to charity.

b. Non-Personal Data

• Analytics: We use Vercel (vercel.com) and Umami (https://github.com/umami-software/umami) for website analytics. These services provide anonymized usage statistics without breaching GDPR compliance. The data we collect through these tools is used to improve the user experience, analyze performance, and monitor website traffic.

c. Communications

• Customer Support: If you reach out to us for support, we will use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry.
• Charity Suggestions: If you submit a charity suggestion to us, we will review the information and follow up if needed.
• Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be stored by SendFox, and not linked to your blockchain wallet or any other personal data. You can opt out at any time.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

a. Blockchain Transparency

• Public Ledger: The blockchain operates as a public ledger, and any transactions or interactions made through RafflChain are recorded publicly. This includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and timestamps. We have no control over the visibility of this information, as it is inherent to blockchain technology.

b. Third-Party Service Providers

• Charity Manager: We work with third-party charity managers, such as The Giving Block (thegivingblock.com), to handle the distribution of ERC20 tokens to charitable organizations. Once tokens are transferred to the charity manager, we have no control over how the tokens are managed or distributed by the manager or the charity.
• Newsletter Provider (SendFox): If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address will be managed and stored by SendFox. You can review their privacy policy here. SendFox uses Google Captcha to verify subscriptions, and Google may collect and store information such as IP address and user interactions with CAPTCHA. By subscribing, you agree to their privacy practices.
• Analytics (Vercel and Umami): We use Vercel and Umami for website analytics. These tools provide anonymized usage statistics and comply with GDPR regulations. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored through these tools.
• Email Services: We may use third-party services to manage email communications. You can opt out at any time.

c. Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users or others.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, due to the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, we cannot guarantee the security of any data on the blockchain. Wallet addresses and transaction data are inherently public, and RafflChain has no control over the security practices of third-party wallet providers or blockchain networks.

We encourage you to follow best practices for securing your blockchain wallet, including protecting your private keys and using strong passwords.

5. Your Choices

a. Wallet Address

Your participation in RafflChain requires the use of a blockchain wallet, and your wallet address will be visible on the blockchain. You have full control over which wallet address to use and can stop using the Application at any time by ceasing participation.

b. Communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or other email communications, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in each email or by contacting us at info@rafflchain.com.

c. Charity Suggestions

If you submit a charity suggestion, you may request that we delete any personal information associated with your submission by contacting us at info@rafflchain.com.

6. Third-Party Links

The Application may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as charity organizations or blockchain explorers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

RafflChain is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. However, we do not have any age verification processes in place, as we do not collect personal information such as names or birthdates.
